Ian Stannard lapped the field en route to a powerful victory at the IG London Nocturne.
The Brit returned to action following the Giro d'Italia and lived up to his reputation with an awe-inspiring performance on the London streets.
Fresh from winning the earlier Elite Elimination Race, Stannard made his way into an escape group of four alongside team-mate Davide Appollonio, Kristian House (Rapha Condor Sharp) and Niklas Gustavsson (Team UK Youth).
A searing pace saw the group take a lap on the field heading into the closing stages, with Stannard able to keep his composure and, with help from Chris Sutton, claim the team's second victory in the event in consecutive years.
The 25-year-old had the measure of a star-studded field, including Orica-GreenEDGE's Matthew Goss in addition to the cream of the UK's domestic criterium talent.
House and Gustavsson rounded out the podium after a crowd-pleasing night of action.
Highlights of the event will be televised on Channel 4 at 0700 (BST) on Saturday 16 June.
