Bradley Wiggins will make his first appearance since the Tour de France in Sunday's GP Ouest France-Plouay.
The Team Sky rider had been scheduled to ride in this week's Eneco Tour but was forced to miss that because of a family bereavement.
Chris Froome took his place in that eight-day race in Holland and Belgium and now Wiggins slots in for his fellow Brit at Plouay.
There's been one other late change to Team Sky's line-up as Russell Downing replaces John-Lee Augustyn.
Sunday's race takes place around a hilly 19.1km circuit and Team Sky have the defending champion in their ranks as Simon Gerrans won the race 12 months ago when riding for the Cervélo Test Team.
The squad in full is: Sylvain Calzati, Steve Cummings, Russell Downing, Simon Gerrans, Serge Pauwels, Nicolas Portal, Morris Possoni and Bradley Wiggins (DS - Marcus Ljungqvist).
