Tragic day at the Giro

Sport in mourning for Weylandt

The cycling family suffered a tragic loss today with the passing of Wouter Weylandt. Everyone at Team Sky's thoughts and prayers tonight are with Wouter's family, friends and team mates at Leopard Trek.

Such a sad way to end a young life, hope Wouter's family, friends and colleagues can eventually take some comfort knowing that he died doing something he loved. An awful day for the sport, I'm sure everyone involved in this years Giro will do what they can & make it an event he would of been proud to say he was a part of.
