Team Sky’s general classification contenders finished safely in the peloton as Dylan Groenewegen (Lotto-Jumbo) sprinted to victory on stage two of Paris-Nice.

Groenewegen came out on top in a reduced bunch sprint into the finish in Vierzon, with Team Sky well-placed in the front group.

Sergio Henao, Wout Poels and David De La Cruz all finished in the top bunch of contenders in an undulating finish which saw some splits in the peloton. 

Arnaud Demare (Groupama-FDJ) maintains his lead overall heading into Tuesday's 210km test from Bourges to Châtel-Guyon which features three category three climbs.
