An opportunity has arisen for a Partnerships Operations Manager (maternity cover) to join us in 2019.

Background

With new partners coming on board and ambitions plans to grow further, there is a requirement to drive Operational efficiencies for partners and stakeholder led activities.

The Role:

Based in the Manchester/Wilmslow area, the Partnerships Operations Manager is maternity cover (full time, 13-month fixed term contract) with the aims to deliver operational efficiencies and excellence across the Team Sky partnerships portfolio. This role will work closely with the Partnerships Manager to ensure the delivery of a first class service to partners and stakeholders. 
 
This role requires someone who can build and maintain key relationships within a high performance, elite sport environment, whilst having the requirements of Team Sky partners at the centre of everything they do.
 
The ability to articulate the importance and requirements of partnership relationships and activations across a variety of team functions including Team Sky talent is key. This role requires an individual who is organised, can plan proactively, and has the ability to identify and extract key operational information from the wider Team Sky functions.
 
The Partnerships Operations Manager will have experience in delivering complex events, experiences, and marketing/sponsorship activities within an elite performance, high pressured environment and will have experience representing a leading global brand. They will have impeccable standards and an attention to detail that ensures operational excellence. 
 
Key Objectives:

·   Ensure first class delivery of all activated rights across the Team Sky partnerships portfolio
·   Overall lead on all partnership rights logistics, planning, forecasting and optimisation 
·   Proactive in driving operational change, efficiencies and process improvements
·   Own and manage the reporting and maintenance of all Team Sky partnerships portfolio inventory
·   Talent management for partner related activity and appearances
·   Co-ordinate the delivery of any ‘all partner’ and brand activities/events (partner day, race hospitality, training camps, training base appearances)
·   On-race lead and key contact for all partnership related activities
·   Operational support for commercial partnership development
·   Internal ambassador for Team Sky partners
·   Provide operational support to wider ‘brand team’ activities (i.e. camps, media, fan engagement, events)
 
Essential skills and experience:

·   Commercial partnerships rights delivery
·   Planning, multitasking and prioritising 
·   Experience of managing partnership inventory and contracted rights
·   Ability to develop and communicate insightful management reports
·   Relationship management within a high performance environment
·   Event management
·   Excellent written & spoken English
·   Full driving license
 
Desirable: 

·   Knowledge of sports/athlete commercial operations 
·   Experience/interest in cycling
·   Additional European languages useful
